Latest version of Todoist for Windows Crashes

Hi,

I downloaded the latest version of Todoist for Windows today. But it crashes during launch. Just shows "Todoist for Windows has stopped working". I am using Windows 7.

Hello Ram,

Please tell me - did it show you any more detailed error messages or error reports? Also, do you have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed on your computer?

Hi David,

Unfortunately no detailed error messages. Just a button to Close the program. And yes, I have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed on my PC.

Are you behind any corporate proxy or using a VPN server or any aggressive anti-virus software?

Hi David,

Yes there is a corporate proxy behind. And the old one doesn't work as well. If I recall Todoist for Windows never worked when there was a proxy behind. And I thought this will be fixed in the new version.

Yes that is true. We are still working on the plugin and more updates will be coming that we hope to solve all issues.
