Gmail integration does not let me log in

MK

I would love to have Todoist work inside my Gmail however it does not seem to want to log me on. I am registered,

I enter in my username
enter my password
click 'login'

and refreshes to the login screen again with blank fields. No message about maybe a wrong username/password combo (I checked, that works too)

Anybody else seeing this? I restarted chrome and such. The Chrome extension works by the way.

Thanks!

Hi Marco,

To clarify, you are using our new Gmail Plugin?

Which version of Chrome are you using? If you log out of gmail completely, and log back in, then try to log into Todoist, does it resolve the issue? If you sign in with Google, does it work?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon

I am using the new Gmail plugin
Chrome version 32
I have signed out of Gmail and logged on, If I sign in with Google, it asks me to register, when I do- I get the same result.

I go back to the login screen, if I click sign in with Google- it asks me to register.

I have no problems login in with these credentials in both the Chrome plugin and the website..

When inspecting, the login requests does a POST and responds with a 302. But nothing else.

I also tried the same email adres as I use to log into Google.

FYI. Firefox works just fine.

I also logged in through 'sign in with google' and that works, I get a permission dialog from Google, I do not get that in Google Chrome.

thing Is though, I rarely use Firefox. :)

Marco,

How many extensions do you have installed for Chrome? If you disable all of them (excluding Todoist) does it start to work?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Well, exactly the same happening to me. Have disabled all plugins, restarted Chrome, and even so wasn't able to login. Forcing a wrong password returned "wrong password" as expected.

In my case, Chrome version is 30.0.1599.101 m

Hope there is a fix so I can start using it.

Thanks in advance and

Best Regards,

Elias.

My problem is a slight variation. I downloaded the plug-in but then got the response "Chrome plug-in installed" However, I already had that and am looking for the GMail plug-in. Please advise

Experiencing the same problem on Chromium on Linux. I know it's probably not officially supported, but it'd be great if you guys could look into that.

I have the same Problem (Mac, Chrome 30.0.1599.101) - also the Google login of the bookmarklet is not working on Chrome (just does not seem to store the credentials after the OAuth authentification w/ Google).

I have the same problem. Win7, Chrome 30.0.1599.101 and plugin installed today for the first time. Enabled or disabled other extension is the same result, blank login screen again and again.

Hi everyone

We can't reproduce this problem :-(

Are you using your Google Account to login?

Best regards,
Amir

I was initially trying to login with my Google Account. But, when it failed, then I requested the link to set a new password. So, now, regardless what I do, the output is the same: I can't login.

If you want, I can allow you to access my machine to see by yourself what is happening.

Best Regards,

Elias

Here's a redacted piece of the request...When using plain username/password auth.

Got it. Great, thanks guys!

Better still- just add an exception for Todoist

allow: [*.]todoist.com

Fine! It worked!
It is better to specify an exception because: https://gmail.todoist.com

Hi,

I am having same issue.

I am on Chromium Version 34.0.1847.116 Ubuntu 14.04 aura (260972).

I tried to disable all plugins. Didn't help.

There is an error in console: Refused to autofill iframe with different origin . Hope this would help.

Hi Alexander,

Please make sure that Chrome is set to accept 3rd party cookies as that's required for the extension to work properly.
