Monthly tasks with a time skipping a month

MK

I've got a couple of tasks that I define as being every month at a particular time like this:

every 20 @ 10am

The problem is that if I don't get to do that task on that day (20th), and say complete it a couple of days later (if it falls on a weekend I'm not going to do it until the next working day), then the next occurence of that task skips a month.

Example: a task set as above. I don't complete it until 24th or 25th Oct. I'd expect the next occurence to be on 20th Nov, however I'm seeing the next occurence as being 20 Dec @ 10am.

Hello Mike,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. If you have a task set to every 20th day of the month, it's current due date is 20 October and you check it off one the 24th, then it should (and as I've just checked - it does) be scheduled for the next upcoming occurrence which is 20 November.

Please tell me - on what platform does it happen? Are you certain that you haven't accidentally clicked on the checkbox twice? If you add a task due "ev 20 @ 10am starting 20 Oct 2013" and check it off today, does it also go to December?

Best regards,
David

Thanks David for looking into this. I definitely haven't (knowingly) clicked the checkbox twice - I tend to always use the Today view, and once I click on a task to complete, it gets greyed out and you can't click it a second time. I also haven't been using the 'starting' clause, I usually just put 'every 20'.

I'll keep an eye on it and see when (if?) it occurs again, but I'm 100% sure that it's not me completing the task twice.

Mike.

Should have added that I primarily use the chrome plugin during the day, although I sometimes use the Android app when mobile, and the web site on IE10 when at home.

Mike,

Please let us know if you notice it again as I still can't reproduce it and the test tasks I've created seem to work correctly so far.

Best regards,
David
