Unable to create new task in MacOS 10.9 Mavericks

TR

Hello,
For some reason I'm no longer able to add tasks in the Todoist desktop app in Mavericks. It has always worked before. I deleted the app and the app support folder in my user library and reinstalled, but same thing. I am able to create tasks in the Chrome web browser version.
Thanks.

Hello Timothy,

Please clarify - how exactly are you not able to add a task? Do you see any error messages? If so - when and what do they say? Are you referring to the "Quick Add" button or the "Add task" option within a project at the bottom of the list?

Best regards,
David

I have tried clicking on the quick add button, using the key commands, and using the add task option. All three--nothing happens. I have also subsequently discovered that the add task Google Chrome extension does not work. There are no error messages--just nothing happens.

This issue has now been solved. You may need to log out and back in to see the changes, though.

Best regards,
