Why does "Newest" in Votebox display mix of items from 2012, 2011, etc. along with most recent?

I click "Newest" and the front page is new-ish entries peppered with suggestions from a year or two or more ago.

Does the logic rule = if someone commented on a post recently, then that comment is "new" and so the whole post should be top-listed?

The issue I guess is that this rule-case seems to only apply to the more popular posts which have a lot of vote, and so such a rule case would be redundant because that would already be covered by "Popular" pull.

So how can I see just the "Newest" on the front few pages without stuff from 2011, etc.?

Hello Adrian,

We're looking into improving our help/support/votebox section a lot in relatively near future and we'll surely keep that in mind (along with "my comments" or "my votes").

Right now it's unfortunately, not possible to view "latest added suggestions", the "Newest" link will sort them by the latest comment.

Best regards,
