Edited overdue task not visible in "today"

Hello!

For reproduction this bug:
1. create some task (or now existed overdue task) with overdue date (for example, 20.10)
2. go to "today" filter
3. edit this task (including situation, when nothing changed and only saved)
4. after saving task is hidding and is unvisible in "today" filter

Same bug I see in android app too (app and widget).

Hello Konstantin,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. I have an overdue task, go to the 7 days list (which also includes overdue tasks), click to edit it, make no changes, save and it's still there with the same date and doesn't disappear.

Please tell me - what exact due date did this task have? Was it exactly 20.10? If not, what date did you use?

Best regards,
David

Hello, David,

"20.10" means "20th October". It's only for example (any overdue date).
I reproduced this issue in "(overdue, today)" (not in "(overdue, 7 days)").

Before I wrote this issue, I had reproduced it few times to be sure. But now it not reproduced, because I can't see ALL overdue task in "(overdue, today)" or just "(overdue)" (in android app too). I tried to clear cache and change browser too - no difference.

I have how some task for 22th Octorber, that I created today for issue testing.

I will create today some tasks for 23th October (today) and tomorrow will I test this issue (I will write about it).

Best regards,
Konstantin

Hello, David,

I have created yesterday some tasks with yesterday's date. Today they are visible in "(overdue, today)" and when I edit their they are not disappeared.

http://ge.tt/8WBEP7w
There are some screenshots.
Tasks "Task 1,2,3" have created YESTERDAY some tasks with yesterday's date. Task "Test task" I create TODAY and set yesterday's date.
On 1st and 2nd screenshots you can see, that "Test task" and "Task 1,2,3" have similar date, but have different notation.
On 3rd screenshot you can see "overdue" task. But there are not all tasks (for example, "Test task").

I don't understand why I can't reproduce bug in topic, and why not all overdue tasks are visible in "(overdue, today)".

Best regards,
Konstantin

Konstantin,

The reason why the task is due in 2014 is probably because you have not included the year when setting up this task. By default, if you type in 20.10, for example, Todoist will schedule it for the next available 20.10 which will be 20.10.2014. To add a task to a past date, you must specify the year and set it to 20.10.2013.

That said, I'm also unsure why this issue occurred to you yesterday. If it happens again and you'll be able to recreate it, please let us know.

Best regards,
David
