Truncate footer

CG

As part of my workflow, I email tasks into todoist.

Is there a way to get the company footer that gets automatically appended to my emails to be dropped/truncated as part of the process that adds this into my todoist inbox?

This would remove all the unneceesary text from my task

Hi Craig,

When you are forwarding an email to Todoist, you can edit the email as much as you'd like, and you should be able to remove that information before sending it.

Besides this, unfortunately there are no options at the moment to accomplish this automatically.

Thanks,
Brendon.

sadly I can't edit it as the footer is added by my company email server as part of the sending process

this is the legal disclaimer that appears on the bottom

I have no influence on it being added so can't edit it - hence why I was hoping it could be stripped as part of todoist picking it up ie if special characters were on the end of my email (and therefore before the company footer such as --) todoist could ignore/strip all text after the -- when picking up the email

Craig,

Well unfortunately we do not at this time. Feel free to add this to our votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Thanks,
Brendon.
