cut and paste a task

L

Is there some way to cut and paste a task?

I have a lot of recurring deadlines and the only easy way to create multiple instances is by a recurring date. The problem is then the task only shows up in one date at a time until I complete that one instance.

I need to be able to look forward in my schedule and have those tasks show up and i find it irritating that the only way i can do that is to retype the task over and over.

Hi Lise,

Unfortunately there is no way to accomplish this. You can export your Project as a Template, but this would include everything within that Project.

Thanks,
Brendon.

ok. I hope that somwhere down the line it can be incorporated. meanwhile I'm discovering through trial how to make it a little less arduous.
It's interesting that you've made it so it notices when you are doing multiple entries in a row and sets you up automatically for the next entry.
