todoist for Outlook error message

M

I have had to uninstall and reinstall todoist because it wasn't working properly. Now I am getting this message every time I click on an email:
Outlook todoist has fired an exception. I am unable to print screen so that you can see the details.
What do I need to do?

Hello,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we're working on a rewrite of our Outlook plugin which will address these issues.

For now, please try to uninstall it and install this version instead: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/27d69392edce0cbd2d7128b9c74d070d/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe

I just downloaded and installed the Adx file from the website, and I am having the same exception problem. Is the file at https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/27d69392edce0cbd2d7128b9c74d070d/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe the same as the one on the website?

Fixed! Had exact errors as above. Spontaneously appeared today after having to install a lot of other software and work with Outlook a lot. Bugged the shit out of me until I found this thread.

Removed ToDoist from Outlook 2013 via the Options pane. Downloaded the referenced "fix" and applied it. Upon restarting Outlook ToDoIst asked me to update the plugin from 2.3 to 2.5. Did that, restarted Outlook, and so far no problem.

This issue was a big deal. ToDoIst is hands down the most useful and well integrated personal task and project program ever. I've tried so many over the decades that I was about to give up ever using a product that integrated my tasks. You made it possible for me to have my ready and fully integrated up to date task list whether I am on my mobile phone, a web browser, my computer, on or off Outlook and on or off Gmail. Nailed it.
