Date/time is incorrect in web page (using Chrome)

B

I change my timezone from +8 to -7, it worked well in my outlook-plugin, but didn't work in the web page.

In settings, it is displayed as -7, but the system keep on asking me change it back to +8.

And the tasks are still displayed as +8 timezone in the task board.

Pls fix this.

Hello Bruce,

Please make sure that all devices and apps that you're using Todoist with are set to the correct time zone. Check if Outlook uses the right zone as well as your computer.

Best regards,
David

Outlook is using the same timezone as computer. And there is no issue in Outlook.

The issue is only web side.

Thanks.

Bruce,

If you load Todoist within another browser, say IE or Firefox does this still happen?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Tried IE, it is the same.

Is the timezone shared between different clients? (web/mobile/outlook, etc.)

This issue make my task list mess up.

If I change it back to +8, the issue is gone. But I am travelling in bay area, I will like to switch the timezone to -7.

Bruce,

The time zone setting for Todoist is shared across devices, but the devices must also always match the current actual zone you're in at a certain time and if you travel to a different zone, you must change it on all devices (if they won't change themselves) and in Todoist, this is the only way to have the correct dates and times on Todoist.

Best regards,
David
