Problem when logging in at chrome through a Google Account after Sync

Hi,

Everytime I sync my browser at a new computer, I need to re-login using my Google Account. It works, but doesn't load correctly the tasks at first, I need to close the original Todoist window and click on the TodoIst button again for it to work.

Is it a known bug?

Hi Pedro,

What exactly do you mean when "doesn't load correctly"? Are tasks missing, re-organized or?

Are you only using Chrome, or are you signed into a mobile app as well. And when you say close the original window, you are referring to the other computer?

Hi, I was kinda in a hurry when I sent that question, so here goes a better walkthrough of how it happens:

1 - Get a clean Google Chrome;
2 - Set up sync. When sync is done, I get the TodoIst plugin for chrome running, but not logged in to TodoIst.
3 - Log in to TodoIst using my Google Account;
4 - Log in succeeds, but it gets stuck on the loading animation. For it to work properly, I need to close the TodoIst window and click the TodoIst Plugin button again, then all works fine.

It's something minor, as I can work around it, but happens every time!

Hello Pedro,

Please log into your Todoist account, go to the Settings -> Account, use "Edit" next to password, set a password for Todoist and then try to log in manually by typing in you GMail address in combination with the newly set password as let us know if the issue persists to confirm if it's only happening with a Google Login or also the manual login.

Hi David,

I did as you asked, and when logging in through my e-mail + password, all goes well. Then I logged out, and tried logging in with my Google Account, it gets stuck on "Loading...", and I close the TodoIst window and open it again, I'm logged in.

Thank you for the confirmation, I have now passed it to the developers and we'll look into it.

Just to confirm - are you referring to "Loading" being shown instead of the Google Login button or a different login animation? Also, what version of Chrome are you using?

I've tested it on Version 30.0.1599.66 m and it's stuck on the same login screen, but with the Google Login button saying "Loading", but never happens then (until I close/reopen the extension). Either way, we'll surely look into it.
