Text in a task - new line

Hi, i would like to type task like this :

Fabien (zephyr) :
- affichage "garage" dans partie vente, à retirer
- afficher bien de manière aléatoire

Sometimes i don't want to create a note.
Only solution i found is to type the text in a text editor and then copy/paste
I would rather be able to type it like this directly in the task

thank you

Hello Cyril,

This option is no longer supported and in this case we recommend to use sub-tasks to create this task structure:

|- Fabien (zephyr) :
| - | - affichage "garage" dans partie vente, à retirer
| - | - afficher bien de manière aléatoire

Using sub-tasks also greatly increases productivity. Alternatively, you could just create two tasks:

- affichage "garage" dans partie vente, à retirer
- afficher bien de manière aléatoire

and add a label @Fabien to each of them.

Best regards,
David

Thank you for your quick reply
Here's my comments on your solution :

Basically, i need to call Fabien to ask him 2 things.

- Subtasks solution : takes longer to edit
- create two tasks : takes longer and they can get separated

I'll try the subtasks but i'm not sure this will be better...

thank you

Cyril,

To create the sub-tasks, please enter the destination project and then:
- Use "Add task" there (or hit "a" to open this field)
- Type "Fabien (zephyr)" and hit Enter
- Hit Ctrl+RightArrow, then type first sub-task + Enter
- Enter second sub-task + Enter (as the box will already be indented).

Ctrl+Arrow will always allow you to quickly indent a task unless you use the Quick Add option, but it's not well suited for sub-tasks anyway.

Of course, notes would be a great solution too :)

Best regards,
David
