Automatic New Task Sorting/Sorting in android

Is there a setting to make new tasks automatically go into the stack by priority, or be able to sort tasks in android? It seems that i'm only able to add tasks to the bottom and i can't re-prioritize them without using the app on my mac. This situation can be somewhat frustrating when trying to get priority tasks to the top of the list that were added that day and my mac isnt handy. I use the mac app, as well as the android app. It would be especially handy to have them automatically go to their priority when they are added. Otherwise I really enjoy using ToDoist, it works well. thanks in advance...

Hi there,

When creating a task you can automatically add a priority to it by typing in !p1 at the end of the task name, or clicking on "more" on the Android app and then selecting the Priority.

Now all tasks at this time (web version or mobile) are added to the bottom of the list when added. We might consider changing this in future updates. Of course this is only for the project the task is added too, if you view your Today view or another date based view, its sorted automatically by date & time (if the task has it) and then Priority.

We are most likely going to add the ability to sort a project on mobile like we do on the web version, we just do not know when this will be at this time.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Also, you can tap, hold, and drag tasks in the Android app to re-order manually.
