Although you cant' sync tasks in your calendar to Todoist, you can export tasks from Todoist to your calendar using our iCal feed. To see how it work, please check out this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzGubOy8GuE
ical instructions would be helpful. The video demonstrates google calender and outlook.
Please check this instructions (form a different site) on how to add an iCal feed into the iCalendar: http://mcb.berkeley.edu/academic-programs/seminars/ical-feed-instructions/
Hello, I was trying to connect based on the instructions, and I get the following error:
"Calendar couldn’t connect to ext.todoist.com. Make sure you’re connected to the Internet, and then try again later."
Is there something I am missing?
I am having the same problem as Solonvip. Please help!!
We're sorry for the inconvenience, I've passed it to the developers and we're looking into this now.
This issue has now been fixed.
Yes indeed, it works perfectly!
Are we able to tick these tasks off on ical? or do we just see them as events? I really want to get todoist premium but i also want to be able to sync these tasks on a calendar if that makes sense?
It's only one way, so it's just displayed on the calender, there is no way to change items or add items from the calender.
I have used to doit.im syn tool which could be syn events from google calendar.
Which is very useful. hope todoist could append this function on next version.
it keeps saying the URL is incorrect. ????
There is a new issue that we are looking into right now. Sorry about that.
I had my iCal set up to import Todoist items, but it stopped updating. It was a day after I did an OS X Yosemite update, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it, but I went ahead and deleted the Todoist calendar feed. I then resubscribed to my Todoist feed in iCal, using the link provided under Todoist Settings in my account, but I am getting a message that there is no calendar feed found there. Maybe the Todoist servers are down, and that's why iCal stopped syncing?
I would sure appreciate some help from a Todoist Staff member in getting this problem solved!
Ah, I just saw Brendon Wadey's comment posted about 4 minutes before mine! Thanks, Brendon. I'll try again later.
I just joined Todoist, and am trying out Premium services for the first time. The iCal feed under Settings / General results in a "A calendar wasn't found" error message ... Is this supposed to work ?
Same problem here...can't subscribe my URL-Link in ical.... when is the bug fixed?
This thread is an older issue, what is happening now is brand new today and we are working on it.
iCal on my Mac Air keeps having his error:
The URL https://ext.todoist.com/Export/icalTodoist encountered HTTP error 404. Make sure the URL is correct.
Is that the same issue people above in this thread are having? (It was working fine until today)... Anyway, would love to know the fix when there is one, hopefully ASAP :-)
We'll update this thread as soon as a fix is available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I'm having the same issue and would appreciate a fix.
