How can I search through completed task's notes

G

I have searched for tasks which works on both active and completed and I have searched words unique to notes but I do not get results where I should if the note is that of a completed task.

Example:
If the task is active the search works for both tasks and notes but if it is completed it only works for tasks and does not search the notes.

Hello Geoff,

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now, but we'll consider adding such option in the future. You're welcome to add a request for it to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Best regards,
David

David, it does not make any sense. I clearly remember searching in the completed tasks' notes using 'q: <string>'. Have you removed that feature recently?

Pxm255,

I have passed this issue to the developers to make sure. We've implemented the option to search notes fairly recently and also the search for completed tasks is not a very old feature. If it turns out to be a bug, we'll fix it.

Best regards,
David

Okay, thanks, David. I'm pretty sure it is a bug. I was very happy when you guys added the ability to search in notes, and it was for both active and completed tasks' notes. I'm looking forward to seeing it fixed, so that we can enjoy this great feature again.
