I don't get reminders on my phone

U

Hello, I have a trouble with reminders. I bought premium account today and set reminders, but my tries are fail. In settings I clicked test reminders via sms, push - that's all right. However when I created any today tasks and created reminders Absolution or Relative, it doesn't work. Interesting thing is email doesn't work too. Help me, please.

Hello Michael,

Please confirm - all test reminders work, but not when you actually set up a real reminder to a task? If so, please tell me:
- What's the exact due date of the test task?
- What's the exact due date and time or delay of the reminder?
- Do you have the same time zone set up on your Todoist account and on all devices you're using Todoist with?

Best regards,
David

I am having an issue identical to this, all notofications sent via the Todoist settings to test notifications work without issue. Any reminders set up within the windows application or android app or IOS app however will not be received on any of the devices I have connected. I have a an android phone (Gingerbread 2.3.4) and an ipod 4th generation connected at this time.

Push notifications had previously worked on this phone, I have only noticed them not working now.

Both my online settings and android phone settings have the time zone set as GMT-500 US/Central.

I'm having this same problem as well. Push notifications to Android. The test notification works instantly, but the notifications associated with reminders do not come through. Time zone settings are the same on phone and web app.

Hi,

What are the syntax's you are using for this tasks? What did you enter as the reminder? Were you creating them in english or other?

Regards,
Brendon.

Simple sintax, like "Позвонить домой" push 16 Jan @ 21:40
In russian language.

I was using English. My tasks were webpages added through the Chrome extension. Entered various reminders (that were registered as I wanted them) such as ev day @ 0800 or ev 1 @ 0800, etc.

Brett,

You added these on the web version, and they did not work? Just to confirm, you did choose Push when creating them correct? If you use "everyday @ 8am" instead, does it still not happen?

Regards,
Brendon.

Yes, I added them using the web version (Chrome extension), and selected "Via mobile push notifications" from the drop-down menu in the reminder dialog. I do not get notifications regardless of how I enter the desired time. I've tried ev, everyday, today, 0800, 8am, 8:22, etc.

Please confirm the version of Android you are running, that you are updated to the latest app version.

Also, I would suggest, uninstalling the app, heading to Todoist.com, under Devices, and remove any that are listed. Then re-install the app.

Regards,
Brendon.

Павел,

Sorry about that. I was thinking you'd try those steps as well. Uninstall the app, remove any devices listed in the Todoist.com's Settings page, and re-install it.

Regards,
Brendon.

I am having the same issue and have tried the solutions listed so far. Nothing seems to work. I can receive the test push no problem. I have reinstalled the android app twice, deleted my phone from the todoist.com settings, and have made sure all the default reminders are push notifications.

If this is any help to the devs, this was my process that led to the issue:

1. Registered on todoist.com
2. Downloaded Windows app
3. Installed todoist android app
4. Purchased premium
5. Added task via windows app
6. Set reminder for a test task

Please help,
Taylor

Version 4.4. App version 2.1.3. Uninstalled the app, removed my device from web settings, reinstalled the app. Still no luck. The test push notification still comes through, but not the scheduled reminder.

Hi,

We are looking into this issue now. We are not sure what is causing this issue.

Have any of you created your account recently? Did you delete your account and re-create it by any chance?

Thanks,
Brendon.

All of the reminders I had scheduled for 6 o'clock this morning came through as expected. Maybe it took some time for the premium features to activate?
