Presence of notes in completed tasks is not shown

P

Replication steps:
1. Search for a completed task that has some notes (using 'q: <string>').
2. The results will appear (you'll need to click on 'Search completed tasks...' to see the completed ones).
3. All the completed tasks will look like they don't have notes, even if they actually do.

This happens both on the website and Firefox plugin.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. I've added a note to an existing task, completed this task, then searched for it and after clicking the "Search completed tasks..." link, I saw it grayed and crossed out along with the note icon and the note could be accessed from there.

Please try to log out, clear your browser's cache, reload the browser and log back in and if this won't help, please tell me - can you reproduce it now with a newly added task and a new note or does it affect only old completed tasks (which could be caused by the fact that we've implemented note search relatively recently)?

Best regards,
David

I tried to reproduce it with a newly completed task and yes, the amount of notes and the notes icon itself are shown, but for all earlier completed tasks, that match the search criteria, the notes are broken. Check it out yourself with an older task completed task with notes.

The task that I originally discovered the issue was completed yesterday, Sept. 2, 2013, so not too old. It is very frustrating that all the notes that I have added by now, are not shown anymore.

Logging out, clearing the browser's cache, reloading the browser and logging back doesn't help with this. Please fix.

I've tried it with a task completed 2 weeks ago and I can confirm that it doesn't have the note icon displayed, but when you hover over it and click on the note icon, you can still access these notes.

In the "View All Completed" list, the same task has the icon and notes as well.

I have passed this issue to the developers now.

Best regards,
David

We're working on it right now as it turns out there's also a different note-related issue for completed tasks which we believe is related. As soon as it's fixed, I will let you know. Sorry for the delay.

Best regards,
David

I did like you said, but the issues is still there. I see it with old completed tasks in the "View all completed" screen.

Just wanted to clarify, I see the issue when searching for tasks using 'q: <string>' and then choosing "Search completed tasks...", then the old completed tasks wouldn't have the notes icon (see my original message).
