Label autofill doesn't work in search bar when using "!" operator

RD

When searching for a label there is usually an autofill when you type "@". This doesn't however work when you type "!@".

This seems like a bug.

Hi Roman,

Which browser are you using? Is this only when searching for the label by itself or a more complex search query?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hey Brendon!

I'm using Chrome on Mac OS. It happens on Safari too.
It never works - regardless of whether it's on its own embedded in a more complex query.

Thanks,

Roman

Roman,

Turns out that this by design, at least for now. Please make sure to enter a space between ! and the @ to make the autofill work.

We will consider changing this need in the future.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi,

Just flagging that if you leave a space between ! and the @ to make autofill work - the search doesn't work. It generates the following:

Error: There was an error. Could not understand ``.

So you have to go and remove the space for the search to work.

So to get the autofill to work you need the space, but then need to subsequently remove the space in order to get the search to work.
