Notes Not Syncing

I'm using Todoist on an iPhone, iPad and web browser (Safari). A note will only show up on the device it was created on. Attaching notes to tasks is critical to my workflow. Is there anyway to fix this lack of syncing?

Hi James,

Please make sure that you are signed into the same account on all devices. This can sometimes happen when signing in with Google, if you sign in with username and password, do the same on all devices.

And to clarify, if you add a task, it's synced? Only notes are not being synced to each device? If you add a note on the web version, does it sync to all devices?

Yes, I am logged in with the same account everywhere (iPhone, iPad, Safari).
Yes, everything else reliably syncs (tasks, due dates, labels). It is only the notes that do not sync.
No, notes added on the web version do not sync either.

Hello James,

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue. I've just tried to add a note to an existing task, on the web, pulled down the task list on iOS and it synced correctly. Then, I've edited the note on the web, pulled town my tasks - synced correctly. Finally, I've added a new note through the iOS app, reloaded the page on the web - synced correctly.

Please try to delete the iOS app and then reinstall it.

I just tried your suggestion. Still not working.

To check and see if existing notes were now showing up everywhere I deleted and reinstalled the iPhone app and I logged out and logged back in to the website. Still not seeing notes from one end show up on the other.

To check and see if it would work for new notes I added a new task with a new note on the iPhone, but the new note did not sync either.

I'm sorry to hear that. Again, however I check it, it works fine. Please tell me:
- Are you pulling down the task list on the mobile app to sync the data?
- Do you have a stable internet connection when you do this?
- Are you using Todoist in online or offline mode (on the web, a triangle in the top-right corner alerts about offline mode)?
- What version of iOS and our app are you using?

Everything else (tasks, labels, due dates) is syncing just fine and almost instantaneously. But notes just stay on whatever device I create them on without syncing over to the other devices. Even if I create a new task with a note, the task syncs over right away but not the associated note.

Do you have any files attached to these notes (what type), or special characters used in them, is this all in English?
