Outlook Plugin stuck on help page

I wanted to add a label and got the help page on the display in outlook.

Now there is no way to get back to the actual to do list and application.

I have closed and opened Outlook and the help page is loaded.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the plugin but the help page is still loaded.

At the moment there is no way to get out of the page - no menu, no cancel button on the page so I am stuck

Hello Jon,

You should see a "Logout Todoist" option on the "Add-ins" tab in Outlook. If it doesn't help, try to uninstall it and then install this version of our plugin: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/27d69392edce0cbd2d7128b9c74d070d/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe and let us know if the issue persists.

Also, please note that regardless of your default browser settings, our plugin will always use IE to connect so clearing IE's cookies could log you out also on the plugin and then forward you back to the login page.

Thanks for the quick reply. There is no option to Logout Todoist on my addin tab. I should have said that I am using Outlook 2013 stand alone

The revised version does allow me to get out of the problem. It has a menu associsiated with the Todoist icon on the ribbon bar (that was not present in the original version) Clicking Reload got me back to the main display.

I am still wondering why there is no way to get back out of the help page - I would kinda expect some button or link or undo or go-back.

I still have no options for Todoist on my Addins tab

We are working on a complete re-write of our plugin that will resolve this issue and many others, it's taking a bit longer then we thought, but it should be soon.

David thanks for the alternative version of todoist outlook. It solved my own issue I was having. Do you have an alternative for the windows desktop app too? having trouble installing that

Hi Sam,

Not at this time, the one from the main website is the latest version. We are working on major updates to this and the Outlook version, we are hoping to release them within a couple of weeks.
