How to mark task as completed.

JB

Is there a way to mark a task as completed without removing it from the list? If not, I think that would be a useful option. There have been times when I wished I could see the whole list even though some of the tasks were already done. Perhaps show the completed items in a lighter font.

Also it would be useful to print a project.

Hello J. B.,

If the tasks you're referring to are parent tasks, then it's unfortunately not possible to complete them and have them still visible on the list, but if you create one parent task representing the big goal and add sub-tasks below it, then these sub-tasks will indeed stay on the list until you complete the parent task and then they will all be removed.

Also, please note that you can always see completed tasks either within a project by clicking on the circular icon in the bottom-right corner, all all completed tasks incl. completion events of recurring tasks across all project by clicking on your Karma score and going to "View All Completed".

Best regards,
David

Thank you for the tip. That is just what I needed.

When I want to re-start the list, is there a quick way to uncheck all of the items?

Yes, you'll be able to click on the circular icon in the bottom-right corner of your list in a project to see completed tasks and un-check the parent task.

However, if you have a recurring task list, we recommend to either use recurring due dates or export the task structure as a template and then re-import it quickly as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Rl_CLGY_3o
