Tasks are off by one hour

Some of my tasks have a specific due time. I have two tasks which are set to repeat "every day at 7am". However in the task list they are shown as being due at 6am. I am in the Central time zone and the time zone in todoist is also set for the Central time zone. Any ideas why these are being shown at the incorrect time?

I was travelling this weekend, in the Eastern time zone, so I imagine this is related...

Ideas?

Hello Adam,

Yes, this is unfortunately most likely caused by the change of your time zone if you haven't updated the time settings on Todoist while being in a different time zone. In this case, there's unfortunately, no way to change this aside from modifying the due date and time of the affected tasks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We've added a way to quickly update your time zone on the web-version of Todoist which asks you if you want to do this each time it notices differences in time zones and we'll implement this mechanism to our mobile apps soon.

Thanks, that did the trick. I was only travelling with my phone so that would explain it.

Could some option to automatically adjust time zone be added in addition to way to quickly change it?

Adam,

If you are referring to our auto update timezone feature also updating the times on the tasks, then this would be how it will work. If you leave tasks unchanged to the timezone for awhile, and make a few changes throughout that time, that is when things can get a bit messed up :)
