Can't find fullfiled tasks in archived projects.

Hi!
I can't find task, which I marked as finished, in archived projects. It is very unuseful.

Hello Stanislav,

I can't reproduce this issue. I've added a task to a project, completed it in this project, then archived the whole project, searched for the task's name, clicked on "Search completed tasks" and it was found.

Please tell me:
- Are these the exact same steps you've tired to follow?
- What browser are you using and can you reproduce this in a different browser?
- Can you reproduce this with a test project and test task as described above?

Hello.
I have another actions order:
I created projects.
I added tasks.
I completed tasks.
I archived project.
I opened archived project and didn't find a list of completed tasks there.
This is the issue and this is natural sequence of actions for me.

I have the latest version of Mozilla Firefox and I don't want to search tasks, as you say. I need to see a list of completed tasks, if I want in any type of the project.

Hello Stanislav,

Thank you for clarifying, this is indeed not possible right now. To view these tasks you would have to un-archive the project.

I have this request too. I tried to unarchive a (test) project and it did not solve it - the tasks are permanently gone, it seems.

(What is the point in having the archive function then? Then it is basically just the project title that is saved)

Hello Anna,

I've just created a new project, added some tasks, completed them, then archived this project, reloaded the page, unarchived the project and then click on the circular icon in the bottom-right corner to load completed tasks and saw all of them on the list.

Please tell me:
- Can you reproduce this issue following the same steps as above?
- What browser are you using?

Anna, I suppose he just mock on us. We told you that when you achieve any project, you can see completed tasks in it. It is stupid function, which doesn`t work.

I'm sorry to hear that you've got such impression, I did not mock on anyone, I simply tried to reproduce this issue using the steps mentioned above to no avail - all data was there.

We must always clarify each report as it may be a different issue and based on Anna's report, completed tasks in an unarchived project were not accessible and permanently gone and that I cannot reproduce.

Anna, please confirm if you're using the same steps and not - let me know what you do exactly to trigger this and what browser are you using.

Thank you for your reply. Yes you are right, that works... I probably forgot that I need to click the circular icon to see the completed tasks:-) Sorry... very much newbie here!

Also, I found that it helps to refresh the browser if there is a visibility issue with some changes of any kind ... unsurprisingly:-) I use Firefox by the way.

I am a great fan of Todoist so far. I very much need an organiser tool to manage my time, and find this one very useful. The structure and functionality is spot on relevant, and the layout is neat and orderly, not cluttered (which it could easily be with a lot of great functions), that is very good.

Re. Stanislav's response, it sounds a bit like trolling but could also be misunderstandings maybe due to language difficulties, or it could also be a real tech issue caused by unusual circumstances in his end. Good on you for responding so seriously and politely to him despite the hostile tone, that is a good attitude.
