Put the mac app into full screen today but it has no option to get OUT of full screen....
Hi Phillip,There should be a menu that pops down in the top right corner when you move your mouse in that area. Please push the mouse into that area, sometimes it can take a fairly hard push.Thanks,Brendon.
Nothing I'm afraid.. just doesn't appear at all. I have to F3, quit from taskbar and then reopen.Am on Mac 10.8.4
Phillip,Please try closing the app down, clearing the cache for Safari (the app uses it) and trying again.I am un-able to reproduce this issue, do you have any other software that has this issue? Are you able to test this on another mac system? Thanks,Brendon.
Has this been addressed? I'm having the same issue. OS 10.8.4Todoist was downloaded from the Mac App store. Thanks!Matthew
Hi Matthew,Unfortunately we have been unable to reproduce this issue. Please let us know which version of OSX you are running and if there is a certain circumstance when this happens. We are looking into it.Thanks,Brendon.
Same here.. 10.8.4 - same as Matthew Sambrook.I downloaded mine direct from your site...it's when you call it up from the top menu bar and then expand it..
What happens for me is:1) I open Todoist from Launchpad. Note: I have am using Todoist as a Menu app only (I've unchecked show Todist in dock - under Mac App Preferences). 2) Go to the menu item and select "Show Todoist"3) When the todoist window pops up I click on the double arrows in the upper right corner that represents Mac Full Screen Apps.4) When viewing Todoist I can no longer scroll up to show the normal menu bar OR down to get the dock to show up like I can in other full screen apps.Note: I'm also running Parallels 9 with Windows 8.1 and an application called "total Spaces" from Binary ages. When I've disabled (closed) both these apps the problems still exists in Todoist so I don't believe it's caused by either of these apps. Thanks! Matthew
Hi,Thanks Matthew for the detailed information. We are looking into this now and hope to find the cause.Anyone else, please confirm if you have this issue when using it through Launchpad, or if it does not matter.Thanks,Brendon.
Hi Brendon -Any progress on this? I've got three Macs (2 Mac Minis and a MacBook Pro) running Todoist and all are experiencing the same issue. If needed I can make a screen cast to show the issue and post it somewhere for you to review. Please advise.thanks!Matthew
Hi Brendon -I've also found that when I try to add an attachment to a note the "select files from your computer..." link doesn't work - when clicking on it nothing happens. In order to add attachments I need to drag and drop them onto the area - I can't click and browse to the files like I was planning on doing. Thanks! Matthew
Hello Matthew,We're sorry for the inconvenience, please confirm - does this feature work correctly in Safari? This may be a Safari limitation - our app always uses this browser to connect and we've experienced the same issue on Chrome (also a WebKit-based browser) which makes it impossible to select a file through our Chrome plugin.Best regards,David
Hi David -I've tested in Safari and I was able to use the "select files from your computer..." function. I then tested the Chrome plugin on my Chrome browser, it doesn't work there. When clicking on the link the finder opens up for about 1/10 of a second then disappears and this happens every time.So summary is that it works in Safari but not Chrome plugin at least and not on Todoist for Mac. Also, I'm still not able to exit full screen mode in Todoist unless I F3 to mission control and select a different desktop(workspace) and then Choose "Quit Todoist" from the Menu bar icon. Thanks!Matthew
Matthew,Sorry for the inconvenience. This may indeed most likely be a limitation to what actions can be performed when the browser's separate window is used by a plugin/app.As for closing fullscren mode - if you could do a screencast showing this issue and send it or a link to it to firstname.lastname@example.org , we would greatly appreciate it.Best regards,David
Hi David -I've finally found time to make a screen cast, I'm sending your email a link of the screen cast showing how I can't exit todoist in full screen on a Mac 10.8.5.thanks!Matthew
Hello Matthew,Unfortunately, I can't see it. It's set to private and the email address which you've shared it with doesn't have access to YouTube. Please share it with email@example.com (that's our company address with full access to YouTube).Best regards,David
Hi David -Will do. I made the video private because I didn't want others to see the todoist bug (which really isn't a big deal). Todoist is a great product and I didn't want the video misleading anyone. Thanks! Matthew
Hi David -The video has now been shared with your google account, you should be able to watch the screencast (it's not that much - just shows I'm not able to scroll out of full screen mode with my mouse). Thanks!Matthew
Matthew,Thank you, we'll look into this issue now. Sorry for the inconvenience.Best regards,David
Hi,This issue (exiting fullscreen) is fixed in the latest release.Regards,Brendon.
Hi, I'm trying todoist for the first time today. It seems that I'm still having issue when the app is in fullscreenAs soon as I use Mission Control and try to switch space the app reappears on that space and I can't minimise it. I have to use the menu -> window -> close window.I have version 4.0 and I'm on Mavericks.Apart from that bug I really like this product ;-)
I solved the problem by unchecking the box "Show Todoist in Dock" in the preferences. It works perfectly now!
