5 standard tasks need for each project at beginning of project

KO

I have 5 standard tasks to set a project. How can I import those 5 tasks as my initial project tasks then later add unique tasks related to the project as needed?

Hi Kathryn,

Please clarify, you have 5 tasks that you need to add to a project, are these tasks within Todoist?

If these tasks are part of a project already, you just need to head to that project, click on the gear icon to the right of the name, and "export as template". You will then be able to import it into a new project, and edit as needed.

If you are asking if you can take a specific 5 tasks from a project (with more within that project) and do as I said above, this is not possible. You can export a Project, but there are no options to which tasks are selected.

Feel free to add this suggestion to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Thanks,
Brendon.

Kathryn,
the export is a simple text file, which - if needed - can be edit easily in any text editor, before importing the tasks into a new project.
