Tasks moved 1 day forward

I reside in the EST time zone, and my laptop and Todoist (on the web) settings reflect that. Two days ago I traveled for business and changed my laptop time zone to MST. Todoist asked me if I wanted to adjust my time zone, and I said no. I am now back home and today I changed my laptop time zone back to EST.

When I signed into the Todoist web app today, all of my tasks' due dates had been moved one day forward. I found some info in the support forums, so I logged out of Todoist, cleared my browser's (Chrome) cache, restarted Chrome and logged back into the Todoist web app.

Now, SOME tasks' due dates are one day forward, but some are on the correct day. There doesn't seem to be anything in common among tasks that have the wrong date - some of the tasks I created while in MST have been moved, but not all. Some of the tasks I created long before traveling to MST have been moved.

Any suggestions?

Hello Jade,

To make sure that something like this never happens, we've implemented a system that cane detect changes in your time zone settings when traveling and will ask you if you want to adjust your current zone. Unfortunately, choosing "No" and then making any changes to your tasks can cause such issues. Please always agree to adjust the timezone whenever you travel.

Most likely any task that you have added or made any edits to while being in a different time zone after declining the suggested change may be affected by it and the only way to fix it is to manually adjust each date. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Before you do that, though, please make sure that Todoist's offline data is cleared. It may not be cleared when using the default cache clearing in Chrome so please log out of Todoist, go to Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data and remove todoist.com from this list. Then reload your browser and log back in and see if it helps.
