New user, cross platform devices

After finding out about Todoist, I went to my Google Chrome browser on my Windows 7 device and downloaded the application via the Google (?) App icon.

After downloading Android versions, I then went to look for the specific Windows version, downloaded it onto my SSD, but it refused to install.
Is this because my first download (above) was in fact the Windows version? I cannot see Todoist in my list of Programs.

Hello Roger,

If you have already installed the Windows app then it indeed won't install again, but if the app you've installed earlier was just our Chrome plugin then it should not disturb the installation on the actual Windows app.

Please try to install it from this location: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/5023a6d6c92501bdfb0e00969703a767/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe and if it fails again, please let us know what happens exactly when it doesn't want to install - does it show any error messages? If so - what do they say?

Best regards,
David

I had another go and it ended up with an '403 Forbidden' message, but with no details.

This happens after the progress bar completes.

I have a screen capture of the message,

Roger,

If you're trying to install it "As Administrator" and aren't behind any corporate firewalls or proxy servers, please send me the screenshot to david@doist.io
