Can't print from the desktop app but can from the web based interface

P

I'm using a Mac with Firefox. When I go to print from the app, Firefox opens but I just get the todoist logo and the moving dots. When I print from web interface, it works no problem. Any thoughts?

Hi There,

Please try clearing the cache for Safari, as the Mac app uses this to work properly (even if you use Firefox).

Thanks,
Brendon.

I did that but no joy. I then tried pasting the print URL into Safari and it worked. I think the problem may have something to do with my version of Firefox - I use the beta version 23.
Thanks for the prompt reply.

Hi,

So to clarify, it works with everything except with Firefox 23, with this it just keeps loading without finishing? It might be worth trying to clear the cache for Firefox as well.

I have let the developers know about this.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I did clear the cache from Firefox, still the same problem. Yes, it does print when I paste the URL into IE and Safari.

Hello Philip,

Thank you for your report, I've been able to reproduce this issue and I've passed it to the developers.

For now, to bypass this problem, when you use the print option through the windows app, try to remove the "win" subdomain from the URL (so it will be todoist.com and not win.todoist.com).

Best regards,
David

Philip,

This issue has now been fixed and you should be able to print when using the print option from the Windows app.

Best regards,
David

Sincere thanks - everything now works fine. I must say, you guys give the most awesome support. That alone is worth the $29 but you'd do if for nothing!! Wow!1 Please never change.
