Can I divorce a task from its subtasks
I have a bad habit of promoting a task when it is in the wrong location and finding that I've now made it the unwitting parent of a bunch of child tasks. Then I can't do anything with the parent without all the children following along. Is there any way to break the task-subtask link?
to "break that link" you can either move the subtasks under another parent or you have to bring the "unwitting parent" onto the same level as its childs, either by demoting the parent or promoting the childs.
