Outlook can no longer attach emails to tasks in it's plugin
I am a premium user of Todoist. I recently removed and reinstalled the Todoist plugin to my Outlook program. Now I can't seem to attach an email to a task - there is no button for it. Can someone please tell me how to get this back?
Please clarify - you click on an email (without opening it) so that it's highlighted and then you use either the Quick Add feature in Todoist or enter a project and scroll to the bottom and in neither of these two places you see the "Add email as task" link?
If so - which version of our plugin did you install?
I would just click on an email in my inbox (which automatically opens it in the viewing area). Then I hit the plus-icon button on the todoist panel and normally at the bottom of this roll-out menu there was button to, "add email as task." That wasn't showing up for me...
However, immediately after sending my help message the button I was looking for showed up! I think it was due to having logged out and logged back in. I had done that before sending the message but maybe it just took a minute to take effect.
I'm glad to hear that it works now. It may have indeed be caused by the logout/login because in order for this feature to appear, our plugin must "notice" that a message is being opened and see its unique ID, if you've logged out and back in in the process, if the message was already opened, Todoist missed this and didn't display the link.
