Only Online?

S

I'm trying Todoist since the death of Astrid, the truth that is very well, I received the premium membership, if not for that I had not given a chance, everything seems very exept one thing I do not quite understand, When my phone this disconnected from Internet, do not sound reminders ... This is so long, I have a problem or me? Because the truth is annoying that the phone has to be constantly online to sound reminders.

thanks

Hi There,

Unfortunately, that's not possible. For the reminders to work, you need to connect and sync with the server. We will consider implementing fully local/offline reminders in future updates, though.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I think this is a must. Living, as I do, in the coutryside, and working, as I occasionally do, in basement offices with no signal, this is problematic.
Additionally, please can you confirm that one can set specific times for reminders with the premium service?

Many thanks,
-Tom

Is truth, very strange that they have not thought of, it is essential to work offline. I think it is something to fix asap! And personally I would like to continue with Todoist, but this makes me doubt

Hi Tom,

Yes, you can set a time for a reminder. Within the date box area, you can type something such as "today at 2pm" and you will receive a reminder 30 minutes before. If you then right click on the task, Reminders, you can set your own more specific reminder to that task. Also, once on the date box, you can click on "recurring tasks and more" to learn more about this feature.

And for offline reminders, as I mentioned above, we do hope to implement this type of ability in future updates.

Thanks,
Brendon.
