Windows app doesn't display all tasks

In the Windows app, some of my projects show up as empty in the main window, even though the sidebar (correctly) shows them as having tasks. I've also seen this issue consistently when I was using the web app in Chrome. Unfortunately, it makes the tool effectively unusable, and I haven't figured out how to resolve it. Closing and reopening the app doesn't seem to help.

Hello Christopher,

Please tell me, does clicking on the Sync button in the bottom-right corner solve this issue? If not, please try to use the sync option from the TD icon in the notifications area or logout and back in (also through the TD icon in the tray).

No, that doesn't seem to correct the issue.

Christopher,

Please clarify - have you tried all 3 options:
- Sync with the button within the app
- Sync with the icon in the tray
- Log out through the icon in the tray?

Logging out this way always completely clears the app's cache and if there are any tasks in this project, this is when they have to appear.

If you did try all of the above to no avail, please delete the app and then reinstall this version: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/5023a6d6c92501bdfb0e00969703a767/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe

Thanks for your help. I just tried all these things, including uninstalling the app and installing the version you linked to. Unfortunately, the problem persists.

Chris,

Could you please try one more thing - add a task to this project, then sync it. And if this won't help - add one task to this project through the web and then sync the Windows app.

Ok, adding a task in the app and syncing didn't do anything.

But I opened the web app, and added a task, then synced the Windows app, and all the tasks appeared.

I'll try this in the future if it happens again, but hopefully this is also helpful in finding the root cause. :) Thanks for your help.
