Update error

I keep getting a message on opening the program that there is an update. But when I click install, it hangs up and I get an error message. The program opens and runs with no trouble. But this happens every morning when I turn the program on.

Hello Debra,

If you're referring to the Mac app, please uninstall it and then install the latest version from https://todoist.com/mac

If you're referring to the Windows app, please install this version: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/5023a6d6c92501bdfb0e00969703a767/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe

If you're referring to our mobile apps, please delete the old app and try to install the updated version from the appropriate store.

That worked - except now, I can't open the program. I only get "403 Forbidden only POST allowed"

I prefer to use the program NOT the browser.

Now what?

OK - I logged out, and reinstalled. And that seems to have fixed it.

Debra,

Sorry for the troubles.

Please try logging out through the TD icon in the system tray area (beside the clock). Let me know if that resolves it.

If not, please try clearing the cache for IE as well.
