Has the font been updated on Todoist? It's very small and hard to read, the other font was way better. Can I change it back in the settings somehow or is this permanent?
Hi Andrew,Yes, this change is going to be permanent. The font shouldn't be much different in size, should be the same size as the previous font used.Has anything else changed on your system that could effect it? Please try clearing the cache for your browser and see if that fixes it. Unfortunately, the font can't be changed in the settings. We might consider added this in the future.Thanks,Brendon.
I like the new font.
I'm not a fan of the new font. I think font should be adjustable in the settings. I also feel like you should be addressing more important updates like the lack of an iPad app or the fact that you can't group all overdue items into one 'Overdue' folder. These, more than fonts, would make Todoist better.
I also like the new font except a fact that diacritic signs are much smaller than standard ones. In Polish we have signs like "ąćęłóńśżź" and when you compare them to "acelonszz" you probably will see the difference. Because of this a visual effect of the new font is poor. The only solution for me is blocking a website which hosting your fonts and using local replacements which looks much better. And to be honest in my opinion this is not a great workaround.
Hello,@Andy - this change did not require a lot of work and we hope a nice modern font will improve the way you look at your tasks :) We'll certainly continue to work on many important big changes regardless of this.@Michał - please send a screenshot of this issue to firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what browser are you using as I can't reproduce this issue so far (the diacritics do seem slightly more bold, but they don't seem any smaller than the rest of the letters in Firefox or Chrome).Best regards,David
Echoing Andy's comments - is it possible for those changes that entirely subjective - e.g. the colours used for different priority levels, font families, etc. - to be user-controlled via settings, rather than rolled out as a standard feature? Would it take a infeasible amount of work to enable that?ThanksMartin
I am having the same problem as Andrew, the font has become very difficult to read. I tried clearing my cache, etc. but that did not solve the problem. Did you test these changes on high resolution displays? It is definitely impacting the usability of the web application.Regards,Viktor
Please, enable UTF8 in font! I can't write Lithuanian or Russian characters anymore :(-1 for new font.
I am having the same problem as email@example.com.If I write characters like í, ç, ã, ó or anything like that, it appers as a █ symbol!
Hello,Could you please send screenshots to firstname.lastname@example.org showing the incorrect display of the font and letting us know what browser you use? We would greatly appreciate it.Best regards,David
David, I do not know if you have changed anything, but at this moment diacritic signs are looking good in my browser.
Michał,Yes, we have indeed adjusted them in today's update, we're glad to hear that this fixed the issue :)Best regards,David
I definitely like the new font
Thanks for fixing issue with UTF-8. Now font looks really nice.Best support ever, so: +1 for new font.
Nice font. Gets my vote of approval!
The new font it's not nice. It's ugly and pixelized on Google Chrome. You cannot even notice what tasks are on Bold text... Please change this back...If I cannot read quickly my tasks I will choose a different app.
or maybe it's your screen resolution or Chrome settings? While the ugliness of a font is in the eye of the beholder (I for one like the new one), it does definitely not look "pixelized" on my screen and I can recognize bold and italics just fine.
Well Andy.. I am just one more (premium) user giving Todoist Support some feedback regarding the new font on Google Chrome... so they can have a chance to check it on their test systems. It's just an opportunity they can use to improve the product to everyone who is paying to use it. If they want.I have not changed my settings or screen resolution.
Ricardo, I wasn't trying to imply anything, but simply did what you did: provide feedback - mostly saying that this is apparently not a general issue with Todoist on Chrome. While I like the new font, I wouldn't mind switching back to the old one, either. In general I wish the Doist team would concentrate on real issues like combining the feature sets of Todoist and Wedoist, instead of toying around with screen candy.
lol Andy... You're totally right... Let's hope for some positive feedback.
Hello,@Ricardo, please send a screenshot showing this issue to email@example.com and let me know what version of Chrome you're using as we can't reproduce this issue.@Andy, as mentioned earlier, this change has not disrupted our workflow and we're still working hard every day on big great features which we hope you'll appreciate.Best regards,David
Yes to this feature. See proposed mockup attached to this comment.
