Completed/moved tasks not updating

JM

On several occasions I've completed a task or changed the due date only to notice the next day that it's back to where it was before. I don't know what's causing it but it might be related to changing task status close to midnight. Is there a known bug?

Hi Joseph,

Have you recently moved between timezones? This can cause tasks to "re-appear" when you think you have completed them. Please make sure you are set to the correct timezone.

If this isn't the case, please try clearing the cache for your browser, and logging out, and back in again.

It's possible this is caused by changing/completed a task near midnight, but there are no known reports of this happening. It's very unlikely this would cause it.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thanks for your response. Logging out and back in seems to force it to clear the cache or refresh. Doesn't seem related to the time at all.

Joseph,

Please clarify, clearing the cache has resolved the issue, or you are just saying it's not related to the time?

Did you check the timezone setting, as well as the timezone on all your devices, systems? They need to be the same on all of them.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Clearing the cache solved the issue on one occasion and logging out and in resolved the problem the problem on another occasion.

The only time issue I can think of is that the time on some computers I use to access Todoist through the browser is incorrect by about 20 minutes (some server issue I can't fix). The time zones are all the same, however.
