Web App Keeps Crashing and Duplicates tons of items!

Is something majorly off with your servers this afternoon? I'm getting 500 errors showing nginx messages. Now my app wont complete the sync and tons of items are duplicated - some 50 times!

I need to be able to rely on this service for scheduling my work, adding to open projects, and marking things off.

It doesn't matter if I use my Mac Book pro or PC. This is happening globally.

Please fix this!

Hi Jake,

We are very sorry for the issues. We have indeed experienced some server issues today, they should be fixed now.

The duplicated items will need to be deleted unfortunately, but the issue is fixed.

This is rare and you should take comfort that this shouldn't happen again, if it does we do everything we can as quick as we can to fix it. Once again, sorry for the trouble.

Hi Brendon,

Everything is back up and running as it should be. Very sorry for my little panic attack there! I just use this tool (and LOVE it) for all my planning and it scared the hell out of me when it was acting up like that while I was trying to arrange things.

Don't know if this is related to the server issues mentioned here, but yesterday and today if I try to mark something complete, it just rolls through trying to connect and then gives up. Yesterday I was getting failure to connect warnings (triangle with exclamation mark). This is still happening.

Hi Bryan,

Please try logging out and back in again, and if that does not help, please try clearing the cache for your browser. If your using our app for windows, clear cache for IE.

So this is how I fixed it for myself (and I'm sure this also correlates to their servers being fixed):

1) Close any window (or app) in your browser that has the app open
2) Clear cache
3) Close browser
4) Restart computer

I had already tried shutting down the browsers (Firefox and Chrome) after clearing their caches, and at that point it was still happening. It was also happening on my android phone and tablet, both on wifi and 4G. Seems to have cleared up itself. Just went in now and created a trial task, and was able to mark it complete.
