Todoist not picking up changes made on app
I am running Version 1.2.10 of the Android app on my phone, and it does a beautiful job of syncing to any changes I make on the Todoist website on my desktop. However, the Todoist website is NOT syncing to changes I make on my phone. Clicking on the large "D" to refresh does nothing. To reflect any changes that I made on the phone app, I have to log out of the website and log back in again. The mobile app and internet site are then synced again, but it is very annoying to have to do this repeatedly.

Unfortunately, the web does not support force-reloads right now, but we'll consider implementing such option in the future. For now, please use Ctrl+F5 to force-reload it if you make changes on mobile while you have the web-app opened. Sorry for the inconvenience.
David, when I try Ctrl+F5, it does some type of update, but not to current state (that is, what is on my phone app and up to date). Instead, it sometimes shows numerous tasks for Yesterday, even though those have all been completed, and does not show all of today's tasks or shows them in incorrect order.
As I mentioned, if I completely log out and log back in, it will also then show everything in current state, but I haven't found any other way to force the web site to update.
Please tell me:
- Can you reproduce this issue in two different browsers? If so - which browser did you use?
- How many tasks do you have on your account (approximately)?
- How much time passes between the changes you make on the phone and reloading the page on the web (if you sync the phone and within 1-2 seconds reload the page then it's possible that the data hasn't been processed)?
David, have been experimenting. I normally use Google Chrome (v. 28.0) as a my browser, and that's where I've been having the update issues. That is, CTRL-F5 doesn't always update with all the changes I've made on the phone (even after several hours). However, when I use Internet Explorer 10, CTRL+F5 does do a correct update -- almost instantaneously. So perhaps this is a Chrome issue?
I have around 100 tasks on my account.
Please try to go to Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data and here search for todoist and delete the entry you'll find. Then, reload the browser, log into your account and let us know if you can see the correct state of all your tasks or if the issue will continue after that.
Also, if you're accessing Todoist on the web through a bookmark, please make sure that the bookmark points only to https://todoist.com and not an URL with a version number.
