android app forwarding tasks to 2014

J

Android app 1.2.0 on Android 4.2.2
"today" view
edit a task scheduled for yesterday
click the calendar icon next to the due date
calendar shows up for correct month, but 2014 not 2013

Reported this same problem a few months ago after an update. It was fixed, but now it's back. This makes it infeasible to change due dates for tasks using the mobile app.

I recommend you do more regression testing for new releases.

Brendon/David,

Just had a similar occurrence when editing a Task Note on my Galaxy S3.

The Task had a due date of 23 Sep 2013 and had no Notes. I added two Notes and saved the Task. I did not change the Due Date.

I thought it odd when the task did not as Overdue in my Start Page, but when I looked at the Task within the Project, I saw that the Due Date was 23 Sep *2014*.

Any update since 10 Jul?

Best regards,
Randy Miller

Hi Randy,

Please make sure you are updated to our latest version of the Android app. This issue was resolved when the first 2.0 version came out.

If you are, please clear the data for the app and let me know if it happens again.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Brendon,

Todoist 2.0.8 is installed on my Galaxy S3 running Android 4.1.2.

Clearing the Todoist cache did resolve the issue. I added a Task Note to the same Task that caused my initial report; I also added a Task Note to another overdue Task; both Tasks retained their original 2013 due dates.

Best regards,
Randy Miller
