I want to resubscribe to support feeds

Hi,

I inadvertently unsubscribed to ToDoist Support emails... I do not see a way to turn that feature back on.

Can someone please resubscribe me?

Thank you.

Hi Jason,

There is no way to un-subscribe to the emails you receive for Todoist Support questions at this time. May I ask how you believe you have done so?

Make sure our emails are not going straight to your SPAM folder, this could be a possibility.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Well, for example, I did not receive an email that you replied to this support request.

Further, at the bottom of every email you send from: Todoist Support <no_reply@todoist.com> there is the following message:

"If you no longer wish to receive notification emails, click here to unsubscribe"

I clicked "unsubscribe" which is preventing me from receiving any messages regarding anything I participate in on your support site or the votebox site.

I had to manually search for this to see that you answered. Same with my last issue.

Hello Jason,

If you have at least one email from our support, please click on the unsubscribe link again and you should see a page that asks you if you're sure or if you want to subscribe back.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

I did that before going through this support page...

It said you have already unsubscribed.

I did the same thing and would like to resubscribe. Really, this should be an option in the settings. Can you please resubscribe me?

When I clicked on that link I got a blank page. Maybe I'll go back into the forum and delete my comment?

Hello Thomas,

We've changed our support section lately which might have invalidated some very old links. Also, you could have seen a blank page if you've used a link to a question that's marked as private and are not logged into the account which has created or participated in this discussion.

David

Eduardo,

We have addressed this issue on the back-end so to re-subscribe to notifications from our support section, please try to click on an unsubscribe link in one of the past email notifications and then you should see an option to resubscribe.

Best regards,
David

Can someone re-subscribe me to these emails?

I found an old Todoist support email and clicked unsubscribe (to re-subscribe), and got

An unknown error happened
Your error was logged down and we will look into it as soon as possible. Please try again later. We're sorry for the trouble.

Dave,

Can you try another email, this should now work without issue. It may have been the specific email, if not I will see what we can do about it.

Brendon

How do I stop receiving updates on this thread?

Hello Jason,

Every email contains a link which will permanently unsubscribe you from receiving emails from all support threads.

Isn't that how this thread started in the first place David?

I do not want to unsubscribe from ALL threads. I want to unsubscribe from this thread. From my perspective, this matter is closed. I am satisfied. But do not wish to receive emails from every todoist member who runs into the same problems for the next 15 years.

Jason,

That's unfortunately not possible, there's one parameter on everyone's account setting whether they're subscribed to support notifications or not, but we're not storing individual thread IDs that are subscribed or unsubscribed. We will consider adding such option in the future, but for now it's either all or none. Sorry for the inconvenience.

David,

Consider, how ridiculous that sounds. In order for me to stay abreast of the goings on of ToDoist as whole I need to receive countless unnecessary emails on irrelevant threads.

For a company dedicated to productivity and efficiency, this is the least productive and efficient model you could possibly employ.

Everyone else on this thread is getting this email... and I am sure, they are not interested. The are resubscribed, why would they care?

Jason,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience :-( To get the latest news about Todoist you can follow us on Google+, Facebook and Twitter, check our blog or be subscribed to newsletters.

If you don't wish for anyone else to participate in a thread you create, you can select the check box to make it private and only you and our staff will even see this thread so we would be the only ones able to reply to it. Please let me know if you with to make this thread private now so no one else will be able to post here anymore.

David,

Do you subscribe to any other forums?

Ever mute a thread that was no longer relevant to you?

But wish to stay engaged to the rest of the forum because there is value?

Jason,

Once again, I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and I can set this thread to private any moment, please let me know if you wish me to do so.

Yes, we're aware of forums that allow detailed management of thread subscriptions and we will consider improving our system by implementing such options in the future.

David

David,

If you set this to private then:

• All others who have unsubscribed and want to resubscribe would not be able to find an answer to their question.
• Would have to repost to this forum creating more work for your support team.
• Todoist would lose the benefit of crowdsourcing the problem.

I am flabbergasted to the inefficient approach to support. So much so I have lost a bit of respect for Todoist today.

No need to reply... I understand your position.
