Creating due date like "ev 4th sat" starting today...

DP

Hi!
Today, Saturday June 29th, I tried to create a task with due date "ev 4th sat". The first due date was set to July 27th instead of today.

I then tried to set the due date as "ev 4th sat starting tod". The first due date was then set to June 22nd.

I then tried the same but with "sun" instead of "sat" (and "tom" instead of "tod"), in no case was the first due date set to June 30th.

Dan,

Since 29 Jun 2013 is the fifth Saturday of June, the first 'fourth Saturday' IS 27 Jul 2013. (The fourth Saturday of Jun 2013 was last Saturday, the 22nd)

I think that the syntax "ev 4th saturday" is correct; "every 4th saturday" also appears to work.

Hmmm... To me "ev 4th saturday" is not equivalent to the 4th saturday of each month. It just means that the interval for the task is to be every 4th saturday (starting from the first upcoming saturday including today).

Dan,

Sorry about that! Now that I've reread your objective, I see your point.

I think the syntax that will work is "ev 4 weeks starting jul 6", if 06 Jul 2013 is the first occurrence.
