Outlook Task Priories: Order Off

When I look in my Outlook Todoist widget, it shows the different priories out of order. It should go P1, P2, P3, P4 and it shows P1, P3, P2. It doesn't matter how many times I refresh - it doesn't change anything.

Thanks,
Jake

Jake,

Does this happen on all views (project, Today) or only one of them? Also, if on a Project view, make sure you aren't organizing them by the date or name, which would make these act differently.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,

I just tested this on the web app and it looks like the same thing is happening there. I'm looking at "(overdue, today) @work". Would be fantastic if this would work - since I use this for my daily schedule and organizing this way would be extremely convenient.

Let me know what you think. Thanks for the speedy response!

Thanks,
Jake

Jake,

Please try using "(overdue, today) & @work" and let me know if the issue persists.

If it does, try clearing the cache for your browser. Also, un-install the Outlook plugin, and install this un-released version.

I just tried this for the web app and it didn't work. Even with the clear cache and browser reboot.

Anything else I should check?

Jake,

This is unfortunately an issue that happens from time to time, and one that resolves itself usually. This makes it very difficult to figure out how to fix it.

We will continue to look into it, but if there is anything that you can think of that you might have changed, added, done before this started it could help us with resolving this issue permanently.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Could it have to do with the order of which I set them? So perhaps I set my P3 tasks before my P2 which resulted in it throwing things out of order?

Just a thought.

Jake,

Unfortunately, that does not seem to have an effect on this issue.

If you could please try the following,

- Log Out of the web app
- Clear the Cache for your browser (which one? I can give instructions on how to properly clear it)
- Also, clear the cache for IE (related to the Outlook Plugin)

Then reboot your system.

What type of tasks did you create when this happened, any special characters, a certain project you were on?

Thanks,
Brendon.
