bug: Todoist doesn't honor '*' to remove checkbox for tasks containing tags

S

Steps to reproduce:

1- Create a new task, with an asterisk at the beginning to remove the checkbox:
- "* Testing checkbox bug"
- Add a tag to the task: @bug
- Save the task.
2- Todoist will remove the checkbox after initial save.
3- Simply click the task's title again to activate it.
4- Without introducing any changes, click the save button.
5- As a result of re-saving, Todoist will move the tag to the beginning of the task's text, hence disabling the effect of '*'
6- The 'checkbox' is back and you have now successfully produced the 'bug'.

excuse me?!!!
Is this some sort of automated response?

What do you mean "add it to our Votebox" ?!!! This is a bug (and rather an embarrassing one as it shows lack of a simple test in the development process) not a feature request.

Unfortunately, this issue is quite complex to address and rarely are labels being used in task headers (as such "tasks" aren't completable). Again, we will consider changing this behavior in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
