Outlook Todist Premium Window

RJ

I am using Todist in Outlook. I clicked on the Todist premium link to see the status of my premium membership and I can not close the window. Anything I click either opens a browser or a pop-up window and there are no options to get back to the home screen. How do I get back to my project list?

Hi Richard,

Please try closing Outlook, clearing the cache for Internet Explorer (the plugin uses it to work properly) and let me know if that helps.

If it does not, please try re-installing the plugin.

Which version of Outlook & Windows are you running?

Thanks,
Brendon.

I am running Outlook 2013.

After clearing the IE cache I reopened Outlook and thought it had fixed the problem as it asked me to log back in. When I logged back in though I ended up on the same screen.

So I cleared the cache again and uninstalled the plugin and then reinstalled. Same result. It asked me to log in and I ended up on the premium page telling me when my membership will expire.

So I cleared the cache, then uninstalled the program, then searched my hard drive for all things todoist and deleted those files. Then I reinstalled. 3rd try same result. It asked me to log in and I ended up on the premium page telling me when my membership will expire but no way to see my projects or tasks.

Hi Richard,

Please un-install the plugin and try installing this older version of the plugin. https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/a0bd7edc06eb7c101535d87a0e4d736f/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.RC.exe

This is a known issue that we are working on right now. We hope to find a solution soon.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I uninstalled the plug-in and tried the older version you suggested. Same problem.

Hello Richard,

Please try to use the LeftAlt+LeftArrow key combination while having focus on the Todoist plugin (click anywhere within the plugin and then hit Alt+Left) to try to go back to the previous page through this plugin. Also, try to use the "Logout Todoist" button in the Add-ins tab or the "Add to Todoist" button.

Best regards,
David

So I hit Alt+Left and I am no longer on the membership screen I am on a screen with the Todoist logo and three squares below it that are cycling colors. When you put the cursor over the logo it says loading but it has not changed in 10min so I assume it is just stuck on a new page.

So I tried clearing the cache again and then uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it. Same result I am stuck on the logo Todoist loading page now.

Hi Richard,

Have you tried to use the "Logout Todoist" button in the Add-ins tab or the "Add to Todoist" button?

Thanks,
Brendon.

There is no Add-ins tab so no option to log out.

I have clicked on the Add to Todoist button and it does noting.

Richard,

Our plugin should add an "Add-ins" tab into Outlook itself. You don't have it at the top (in addition to the default tabs such as "Home")?

We will soon release another update and it should fix this issue permanently. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

The plugin did not add an "Add-ins" tab to my Outlook.

It sounds like waiting for the next release is probably the best idea at this point. Appreciate the help attempting to troubleshoot this.

Can you send me an e-mail to notify me when the new plug-in is released.

Thanks

Hello Robert,

Please try to use this version of our plugin: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/27d69392edce0cbd2d7128b9c74d070d/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe

We're currently working on a bigger fix/rewrite of it which should address all these issues. Sorry for the delay.
