The Priority Colors (again ;-)

AB

Dear Todoist Team,

more than half a year is gone after you changed the coloring of priority from colored text to colored checkboxes. You argued, that it improves the UI (http://todoist.com/Support/showQuestion/3504/) and you suggested to wait how the votes will be on this feaure ( http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/696/ and http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/695/ ).

As far as I can tell, one of the proposals with atm 64 votes is the only one change request (in the first two pages of Votebox) that is actually a plea to change back to the older theme (namely colored text or non solid checkboxes or alike). I understand that there are many big things and feature changes going on (especially I guess the wedoist intergration) but again, this is a "change back to old stuff"-kind of request).

To support the change of this feature I finally found a use case, where colored checkboxes decrease the efficency of the UI:
One cannot determine the priority of the astrics group tasks.
e.g. Tasks "* Some group !p2" and "* Some other group !p1" look the same in the UI. (It didn't when you used the colored Text :-)

So, to recite David "The new scheme provides a clean view on your tasks and yet a clearly visible priority coloring within the check boxes." - in this case of grouped tasks, I disagree.

Greets and again
thank you Todoist Team for a good App and your continued support.

Hello Andre,

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and may consider changing this in the future. You're welcome to add your vote to the Votebox (in case you haven't done so yet), but at this point we can't promise if or when we'll re-introduce colored task text.

Best regards,
David

Thank you David!

It would be very practical if the grouping tasks had some priority indication. At the moment there is no easy and efficient way to determine the priority of such tasks.

All the best!
