Hello,

How are you accessing Todoist, through the web version, the windows app?

Are you behind a proxy or any type of extra security? Please try clearing the cache for the browser you are using, and clearing the cache for Internet Explorer if you are using our Windows App or Outlook plugin.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I am using the web version through chrome. I cleared the cache but the problem is still showing up. Then I tried it on the Windows App, cleared the cache of ie. but it is no use at all.
Waiting for your reply,
Thanks

Hi,

Do you happen to be behind a proxy? Are you able to disable that proxy?

What version of Windows are you running? Just to clarify, the only time you see this error is when you try to export a project as a template?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Yes, I see the error when I export a project as a template.

And I am not behind a proxy. I am using Windows8 on my computer. I also run a WinXP in Virtural Box. Though I changed the language, or clear the cache. The error 502 shows all the time.

Waiting for your reply,
Thanks

PC setup: Windows XP; running Todoist as web app (using Chrome Version 27.0.1453.94 m)

Hi,

Are you running Todoist in a different language? Which language would that be?

Unfortunately, I am un-able to reproduce this as well. I will let the developers know about this, but it's hard to fix something like this without being able to reproduce it.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I do know what is going on. This function does not support tasks which include chinese characters.
I created a new project in English. Then I could export it as a template successfully.

I edited the '.txt' file, added some chinese characters. Imported it back to todoist. It didn't work.

I think template is a good way to manage my tasks. So I upgraded my account for these 'export' and 'import' functions mainly.

Hello,

Thank you for this information, I will pass it to the developers. It seems to only affect the project names, tasks can be entered in Chinese and will correctly be exported.

Best regards,
David
