Is there a way to easily migrate Outlook Tasks and Follow ups with categories to Todoist tasks with labels equalling the Outlook categories?

HF

I have 200 Outlook tasks and follow ups, categorized in Outlook. I've set up corresponding labels in Todoist. Is there a way to automatically migrate the tasks and follow up items?

Hello Howard,

You could quickly add the tasks using the importing feature. Simply create a TXT file where each line will be one task (note - you cannot have empty lines, and each line will become the name of the task).

Please watch this short video to see how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Rl_CLGY_3o

Best regards,
David

Would I lose the email content associated with each task/follow up?

Howard,

If the tasks you have in Outlook's Tasks are linking to emails then yes, you will loose these links. You can use our Outlook plugin https://todoist.com/outlook to add emails as tasks, though.
