The "q:" sign for searching has disappeared

A

Hello Support,

A few days ago I found that the "q:" sign I used for searching had disappeared. I certainly can just print it to look for something (e.g. q: hotels) but it's too inconvenient.

Thanks

Alex

Hello Alex,

We've just improved our search and now you can just type "hotels" without the q: syntax and it will also work. You can also type partial words and the search will now find matches within task notes, you can use boolean operators to combine searches, use the # tag to jump to a project etc.

Please refer to this page for a detailed documentation of the new search: https://todoist.com/Help/timeQuery

Best regards,
David
