Hello Jeniffer,

Please make sure that Outlook is closed, then uninstall the plugin through the Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Then, re-download the latest version of it from https://todoist.con/outlook run it "as administrator" and let me know if this solves this issue.

Best regards,
David

Hi Jennifer,

Please make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer installed on your system. IE10 for Windows 7.

Also, please try logging out of the plugin once more, and at the same time clear IE's cache. Once that is done, log back in.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Do I have to be using IE10? Another online accounting application I use is not compatible with the newest version of IE and I cannot update at this time.

Hi Jennifer,

IE9 and above are preferred, and can solve many issues with the Outlook plugin at this time. So if you have IE9 that should be ok.

Clearing the cache no matter what version could also help with this issue. So please give that a try.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi, I am still unable to access the Outlook plugin, I have a question though. When I go to trustcenter to click the add-in, the COM add-in is called OutlooktodoistADX and the location instead of like C:\program files etc etc it is mscoree.dll, is that right?

Hi Jennifer,

Yes the name, location is correct.

Please try re-installing the plugin while Outlook is still running. I have seen that this could make a difference. Once that is done, please check if Windows Update has any updates for Office, and install those updates.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Jennifer,

I am very sorry for this inconvenience. We are working on a new update for the app that could address this issue, but it is not available just yet.

We will continue to look into this.

Currently, logging out of the plugin, clearing the cache for IE, and making sure there are no Office updates available (update if there are), and a re-install of the app is what seems to be working. A reboot after these could also make a difference.

Thanks,
Brendon.
