Querying not working correctly with labels

P

My queries are not working like they did before. When I run a query such as od,tod @label it shows all my items that are overdue and due today. This used to work just fine earlier.

Hi Pranay,

We've just implemented some big improvements to the search functionality, which caused some changes.

To achieve that you need to use "(od, tod) & @label"

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thanks, too bad it increases the amount of typing required. How do I do "od,tod, tom @label" ? "(od,tod, tom) @label" returns a syntax error.

I can confirm that returns an error.

I have let the developers know about this, hopefully it will be fixed shortly.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I also cannot drag tasks while in a query view. I used to able to do this before. Has this feature been removed?

Hello Pranay,

Certain searches don't have the drag & drop feature available (if they include labels and due dates). You can still drag & drop tasks when only searching for dates, just as you could before.

Best regards,
David

I was able to drag and drop in searches with labels and due dates earlier.

Pranay,

Unfortunately this feature was very prone to issues/glitches, very complex to handle and maintain and it will no longer be possible to reorder tasks on search results involving labels.

Best regards,
David

I am not happy with this update, its removed functionality that I used very often and is very buggy.

Hi Pranay,

We are sorry to hear that. Your welcome to add this as a suggestion in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/ and it's always possible it could come back.

Thanks,
Brendon.
