new windows app column width changed

The new windows app, just installed today, if sized to a narrow window, hides most of the task description. I like to keep the app opened as a narrow vertical window at the right side of my screen. The left column, with project descriptions, is wider, so the left column, with the task list, almost disappears when the window is sized vertically narrow. Is there a way to adjust the width of the left column?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately, that project column can not be adjusted. It isn't designed to be left open once it's sized that small, you choose your project, and it goes away. I do understand your reason though.

Now I don't remember it being any smaller in the previous version but feel free to add this as a suggestion in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/, we could very possibly add this in the future.

Well ... this is weird. Closed the app and re-opened and it now displays in one column like the previous version instead of two columns. Re-sizes to the width I like.

The spacing for my Todoist for Outlook is completely messed up since the upgrade. For the projects with long titles I have to scroll way over to even edit the due date. This is now the second major problem I've had with this upgrade. The first one I've been told your already working on.

Hi Steve,

Could you please confirm for me if you have tried closing down Outlook and re-starting?

Also, could you confirm which version of IE you have installed. The Outlook plugin depends on IE. If you could update to IE10 and confirm that Compatibility Mode is turned off.

I have tried restarting several times. I am running IE9 and do not want to up upgrade due to multiple issues it has with Internet apps I use.

Hi Steve,

We do recommend IE10 for many reasons, but IE9 should be fine. Could you please confirm if Compatability Mode is enabled or not?

I would also suggest clearing the cache of IE9 as well. If you have already done that, please try un-installing the plugin, and re-install it.

An update has been pushed out, please clear the cache of IE and restart Outlook.

I uninstalled Todoist, reset IE completely (it's not my main browser anymore anyway), re-installed Todoist, and now everything seems to be working wonderfully. Thanks for your help. Keep working on Todoist, it's got great potential. But I think we all deserve a little extra karma after all this latest update put us through :-)

As it turned out my problem returned. I had to clear IE cache again to get it to work. I don't want to have to clear IE cache every time I want to use Todoist. So please come up with a better solution.
